Little Dude had practice this morning so it was time to go to our closest winery, Boutier.  The drive is pleasant and considerably flatter than any of the others.  It is truly in the sticks.  Good news is that one of their forward thinking neighbors built a house at the end of the driveway to serve as a B&B.  There is also another cottage house nearby to house overflow guests.

 It will take you about two minutes to figure out that the Mrs of the operation is Irish, but it's a little harder to figure out the accent on the Mr. Spoiler alert, he's from the Netherlands.  Both are friendly and have a sense of humor that is expressed in the name of their wines.  This first list is made from juice that they ship in from California.  Tastings are 1 for $1.

 

This next list is made from Georgia grapes, some they grow, some they buy.

 

This third third of the list contains Georgia fruit wines and a few wines, listed as "Fruit Varietal," made from fruit juice brought up from Florida.

 

We both loved the fountain on the side yard. Lucky for me the owners are forward thinking enough that they have a small trunk of toys for kids.  They also have a banquet hall on site.
